A rock art panel of many figures carved on an L-shaped bend of cliff 4.5 m high and 8 m wide. Some 200 pictures are carved on the rock: land animals, sea creatures and hunting scenes. The land animals include tigers, wild boar and deer; the tigers are shown caught in a pit trap and pregnant, the boar mating, and the deer with young or carrying them. The sea creatures include whales harpooned and whales pregnant or swimming with their young. The hunting scenes show a masked shaman, hunters stalking animals and fishermen hunting whales from boats, with nets and boats also depicted. These images were carved on the rock with the wish that the hunt would go well and game be plentiful. The techniques — pecking out outlines with a stone tool or removing the whole figure, and grinding the pecked outlines — suggest a date from the end of the Neolithic to the Bronze Age. Rendering animals and hunts with vitality in lines and dots and capturing the character of things convincingly, it is regarded as the supreme masterpiece of prehistoric art, both hunting art and religious art, revealing the life and customs of prehistoric people.
