The Gold Bracelets from Noseo-dong, Gyeongju are Silla-period gold bracelets, 8 cm in diameter, discovered in a tomb in Noseo-dong, Gyeongju. On the outer face of the flat cross-section, 59 studs are raised on each bracelet, and a piece of jade is inlaid into every one of them. To either side of these studs, four dragons are vividly carved with their mouths open, each appearing to try to bite the tail of the next dragon. Their bodies are carved with finely detailed scales, and the eyes are incised. Various gold and gilt-bronze bracelets have been found in Silla tombs within the city of Gyeongju, most of them undecorated or bearing only simple patterns. Examples carved with dragons like this are very rare, and among them this pair of bracelets is regarded as an outstanding masterpiece.
