Donginjimun sayuk is a book compiled by the Goryeo literatus Choe Hae (1287–1340). His collected writings, Jolgo cheonbaek, include a preface titled "Dongin munseo" and another titled "Dongin saryukseo." According to "Dongin munseo," he compiled an anthology of Korean poetry and prose, naming the poetry section "Ochil," the prose section "Cheonbaek," and the parallel prose section "Saryuk." "Dongin saryukseo" separately discusses matters of form and style relating to the "Saryuk" section. However, in the copies of Donginjimun that survive today, the "Ochil" and "Cheonbaek" sections are almost entirely absent, and only "Saryuk" remains. This book, a collection of writings from the Silla and Goryeo periods, is among the oldest surviving texts of its kind. It is currently held in Korea University Library, comprising volumes 1–6 and 10–15, twelve volumes in total bound in four books. There was also Dongguk jigam by Kim Tae-hyeon of Goryeo, but it no longer survives. In the colophon at the end of Volume 5, characters forming the taboo names of successive Goryeo kings — Geon, Mu, Un, Yo and Chi — appear with strokes omitted or replaced by other characters, a feature common to Goryeo editions. The woodblocks for this edition were cut in 1355, the fourth year of King Gongmin of Goryeo, but it appears to have been printed in the early Joseon period.
