Donginjimun sayuk is a book compiled by Choe Hae (1287-1340), a literatus of the Goryeo dynasty. His collected works, the Jolgo cheonbaek, include a preface to the Donginmunseo and a preface to the Dongin sayukseo. According to the preface to the Donginmunseo, he compiled an anthology of Korean poetry and prose, naming the poetry section "Ochil", the prose section "Cheonbaek", and the parallel-prose section "Sayuk". The preface to the Dongin sayukseo separately discusses matters of form and style for the "Sayuk" section. However, in the Donginjimun as it survives today, the "Ochil" and "Cheonbaek" sections are almost entirely lost, and only the "Sayuk" section remains. In any case, this work, a compilation of Silla- and Goryeo-period writings, is among the oldest surviving books of its kind. There was also a Dongguk jigam compiled by Kim Tae-hyeon of Goryeo, but it no longer survives.
