"Gyeongsan-jeon-palssangjeolcheop in Seal and Clerical Script by Yi Han-jin" is a work in which Yi Han-jin (pen name Gyeongsan, 1732–1796?), a master of seal and clerical script in the late eighteenth century, wrote several five-character regulated verses in seal and clerical script in the winter of 1790, the fourteenth year of King Jeongjo, at the age of fifty-nine. The seal script follows the "jade chopstick" style of the Tang-dynasty calligrapher Li Yangbing, with thin, evenly weighted strokes, while the clerical script appears to blend the styles of the Liqi Stele and the Cao Quan Stele, both celebrated clerical-script steles of the Eastern Han dynasty. Yi Han-jin inherited and developed the seal- and clerical-script styles of the earlier masters Yi In-sang and Song Mun-heum, and this album, among his few surviving works, best demonstrates that inheritance.
