Sanghyeon Tomb is a three-bay by three-bay building with a gable roof, built with a projecting, two-armed ikgong bracket set on a five-purlin (oryangga) frame. In its floor plan, no front eave bay is set at the front; instead, walls and an entrance door are installed between the front and rear plain columns, a feature notable for securing a wide interior space within the shrine hall. The detailed form of the projecting two-armed ikgong brackets preserves characteristics typical of 17th-century construction, and the interior roof frame carries a main beam and a ridge beam with an ornamented king post installed.
