Tomb of King Jima, Gyeongju
경주 지마왕릉 · 慶州 祗摩王陵

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis is the tomb of King Jima of Silla (r. 112–134), who during his 23-year reign repelled invasions by Gaya, Japanese raiders and the Malgal. He was of the Park clan and the son of King Pasa. The tomb is a relatively large round mound, built on a high point of the slope descending from Namsan Mountain, with no particular distinguishing features. Given its location, scale and form, the tomb cannot be regarded as dating from the early Silla period. A small stone statue, installed recently, stands in front of the tomb. The site's official name was changed from Tomb of King Jima to Tomb of King Jima, Gyeongju, by notification on 28 July 2011.
