This post office is an eclectic-style wooden building completed on 25 October 1912, which served as the office handling postal money orders, savings and telecommunications services. The main entrance uses entasis columns and Tuscan-order capitals, and a semicircular skylight was installed on the roof. Repairs began on 21 December 1984, including replacing the zinc-sheet roof with copper sheeting, and were completed on 7 May 1985, bringing the building to its present state. Among modern-style buildings constructed in the early 1900s, it is architecturally valuable and serves as an important historical record of modern-style architecture.
