A tile-roofed house set on south-facing ground, with a low hill behind it and open fields in front. Records found in the main quarters show that it was built in the tenth year of the Gwangmu era (1906), and the men's quarters and the detached annexe are said to date from the same time. The complex consists of an L-shaped gate quarters, main quarters and detached annexe, together with a single-row men's quarters. On ground lower than the rest, linked to the village road, stands the single-row gate quarters; passing through the gate, one reaches the men's quarters courtyard directly from the gate courtyard. The men's quarters stands on ground higher than the gate courtyard, and behind it is a middle gate quarters, within which the main quarters and the detached annexe face each other. The main quarters is L-shaped, following the plan typical of the central region. In the L-shaped plan, the southernmost bay and the one next to it form the kitchen, above which is a two-bay inner room, and above that a wooden-floored room. Where the plan turns, there is a three-bay hall, beside which is a one-bay small room. The men's quarters is a single-row building; from the west there are a medicine room and a small side room, one behind the other, beside which are two reception rooms, a two-bay hall and a two-bay room. In front of the medicine room there is a narrow board floor. The detached annexe is built in an inverted-L shape, with a two-bay hall at the centre and one room each above and below it; there is a further room where the L shape turns. The gate quarters is L-shaped, with a toilet to the east, beside which are a two-bay storehouse, a raised gate built higher than the flanking walls to mark the household's status, another storehouse and a shed. The house has gardens laid out in both the men's quarters courtyard and the inner courtyard, and the scenery around the house is also outstanding.
