Seopyeon Three-story Stone Pagoda of Wonhyoam Hermitage
원효암 서편 삼층석탑 · 元曉庵 西便 三層石塔

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krIt was moved here from an open space 30 metres northwest of Wonhyoam Hermitage. The original pagoda would have had a three-storey body set on a two-tier base and topped with a finial, but the lower tier of the base and part of the finial are now missing. Pillars are carved at the corners of each body stone of the pagoda; the second- and third-storey body stones were made and fitted at a later date. Each roof stone has a three-tiered set of eaves supports carved into its underside. Overall the pagoda follows the general style of Unified Silla stone pagodas, and it is thought to have been built sometime between the late Unified Silla and the early Goryeo period.
