These are twin pagodas standing east and west of each other; the temple site that once contained them has become farmland and private houses, and no relics other than the pagodas themselves survive. Each pagoda rises in three storeys above a two-tiered base, the two pagodas being almost identical in scale and style. The base is carved with pillar shapes and with the Palbusinjung, the eight classes of guardian deities who protect the Buddhist Law, while only pillar shapes are carved on the body stones. The roof stones have five-tiered supports on their undersides. At the top, a round finial survives above a square base stone. Judging from the carving technique of the base and the composition of its individual parts, the pagodas are presumed to have been built during the Unified Silla period.
