This three-storey stone pagoda stands, together with a seated stone Buddha, at the old site of Seongdeoksa Temple. The lower part of the base is buried underground, so its exact form is unknown, and the three-storey body of the pagoda rests above it. The body stones of each storey have pillar-shaped carvings at their corners; the body stone of the third storey had been lost and was newly fitted in when the pagoda was restored. The roof stones are carved with four tiers of eaves-supports on the underside for the first and second storeys and three tiers for the third; the roof slopes gently downward and the four corners curve upward. Overall the pagoda shows the influence of Unified Silla stone pagoda style, but changes such as the narrower, thicker roof stones suggest that it was in fact built in the Goryeo period.
