Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThese are the printing woodblocks for the combined literary collections of three Joseon-period scholars: Gwon Sun-gyeong (1676–1744), his younger brother Gwon Sun-gi (1679–1746), and Gwon Sun-gi's second son Gwon Heup (1710–1748). They were carved in 1863, the fourteenth year of King Cheoljong, by Gwon Sun-gyeong's fifth-generation descendants Gwon Ju-sin and Gwon Ho-sin. Like the Sangjejimnyakpanmok blocks, these were originally kept at Yongsanjeong Pavilion in Yonggye-ri, Gilan-myeon, Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, and were transferred to Daejeon around 1950. Volume 1 comprises Gwon Sun-gyeong's Muwago, volume 2 Gwon Sun-gi's Yakgyego, and volume 3 Gwon Heup's Oheongo, recording writings on literature, history, ritual and education. The printing surfaces are made of pear wood and the end pieces of pine; the full set comprises 45 blocks.
