Three-story Stone Pagoda in Beombang-dong
KOGL Type 1Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

This pagoda stands on the site of an old temple, though no other trace of the temple survives. It has the typical form of a two-tier platform topped by a three-storey body, with neatly carved pillar-shaped decoration at the corners of each face of the platform and body. The body stones decrease sharply in size from the first storey to the second, while the third is similar in size to the second. The roof stones have four tiers of supports on their underside, with the four corners curving upward. Tradition holds that this pagoda was built together with the temple in the time of King Suro, founder of the Garak kingdom, but its carving technique and style suggest that it is in fact a pagoda of the Goryeo period.
