Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis house is believed to have been built around 1910 for the missionary Reiner, who lived here. After Reiner, missionaries such as Chamness and Sawtell lived in the house, and from 1984 to 1993 it was home to H. F. Moffett, medical director of Dongsan Hospital. It is now used as a medical museum. The building is a long rectangle extending north–south. The ground floor contains a living room, study, kitchen, dining room and staircase, while the upper floor has two bedrooms. Externally it has a wooden entrance porch and veranda, and two red-brick chimneys rise from the roof. It is a building through which the architecture, housing and way of life of Americans resident in Korea at the time can be examined.
