This is the house where the missionaries Blair and Rice lived, built around 1910. It is currently used as an education and history museum. It is a two-storey building of red brick, elongated on a north-south axis, and although some of the interior building materials have been replaced, the building's form and structure survive well. On the roof is a red-brick chimney, and the floors inside the building are wooden. The first floor contains a veranda, a reception room, a living room, a bedroom, a dining room and a kitchen, while the second floor, reached by stairs, contains a bedroom, a bathroom and other rooms. The windows are made to open both up and down, and above the veranda at the entrance is a sunroom. Seongyosabeulreeo House is a fine example through which the appearance of American houses of the period can be observed.
