Provincial Tangible Heritage

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krYongamjeong Pavilion once stood on a rock beside the Donggang River. It was built in 1913 and originally called Yeongnakjeong. In 1940 Sin Eung-in acquired it and renamed it Yongamjeong, and in 1975 it was relocated to its present site because of the construction of Andong Dam. The building is three bays across the front and two bays to the side, with a hip-and-gable roof whose sides form the shape of the character 八 (eight).
