Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis shrine was built by later disciples to honour the patriotic spirit and virtuous conduct of Hyeongok Yu Yeong-seon (1893–1961) and to enshrine his portrait. It measures three kan (structural bays) across the front and two kan along the side, with a hip-and-gable roof that takes the shape of the character for "eight" when viewed from the side. The Jangseogak (library building) near the shrine holds the books written by Hyeongok, together with a large collection of books and family relics preserved by his descendants.
