This is a stele standing in the village of Biduri. It originally stood at Yongbawi-gol in the village of Huyong-ri, and was moved when a Buddhist worship hall was built nearby; it was later relocated to its present site at the request of the residents of Biduri village. The stele consists of a turtle-shaped base set on a foundation stone, above which only the capstone remains, the body of the stele itself having disappeared. The turtle base has its head turned sharply back so that it appears to gaze at the stele, and its shell is covered all over with a double hexagonal pattern. The capstone is carved with two dragons moving through clouds, facing each other with their bodies intertwined; the dragons' movement is rendered with great vigour. Because the body of the stele has been lost, neither the date it was erected nor the person it commemorates is yet known. The carving is notable for its delicate and realistic craftsmanship, and the turtle's head, turned back to rest against its own shell, is a particularly original conception.
