This pagoda stands alone in the middle of a field, and the detailed history of the temple it once belonged to is not known. It has a single-tier foundation supporting the body of the pagoda, topped with a finial. On the foundation, corner pillar carvings are neatly incised at each edge of every face. The body consists of a single stone for each body block and each roof stone, and the proportions decrease appropriately as the pagoda rises, giving it a sense of stability. The thick-looking roof stones each have four-tiered eaves supports on their underside, and the eaves curve up slightly at the four corners. At the top rests a damaged piece of stone believed to be part of the finial. Judging from the single-tier foundation, the omission of a central pillar carving, the thick roof stones, and the four-tiered eaves supports, the work is presumed to date from the late Goryeo period.
