This work, titled Seokga Yeorae Yujeokdo (an image of the sacred traces of Śākyamuni Buddha), is carved on a wooden board measuring 33 cm wide, 74 cm high and 3.7 cm thick. On the front, the characters for "Śākyamuni" have worn away, leaving only the words "Yeorae Buljeokdo" (Image of the Buddha's Sacred Traces) carved in relief; this inscription measures 50 cm long and 17 cm wide. Below it are engraved the soles of the Buddha's two feet, each bearing fourteen patterns, together with an inscribed text recording a prayer. An inscription on the lower part of the back records that the work was made in 1812, the twelfth year of King Sunjo's reign, in the Joseon period. The composition is centred on Śākyamuni, flanked by Amitabha Buddha on the right and Maitreya Buddha on the left, with Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva at the bottom; around them the numbers of the hells and of the bodhisattvas are arranged neatly in an oval.
