This shrine was built in 1885, the 22nd year of King Gojong's reign, to honour the patriotic spirit and virtuous conduct of Yongo Jeong Gwan-won. It comprises a shrine hall along with the Honguijae, Gyeonguidang and Sangullu Pavilion. The shrine hall enshrines portraits of Jeong Gwan-won and Gi Sam-yeon. The shrine hall is a dapo-style building, in which elaborate bracket sets supporting the roof eaves and also serving a decorative function are placed both above and between the columns, giving the interior a lavish appearance. The Sangullu Pavilion is a raised structure with three bays across the front and one bay to the side. The Gyeonguidang, used as a lecture hall, measures five bays across the front and two bays to the side, and has an ornate hip-and-gable roof whose sides form the shape of the character "eight" (八). The Honguijae has a hip-and-gable roof with three bays across the front and two bays to the side, and uses round columns that curve slightly in an S shape.
