Following the path that leads up behind Yeonmisa Temple, this pagoda comes into view. It was restored from stones that had lain scattered behind the huge stone Buddha statue standing alongside it (Treasure No. 115); this site is said to have once been the location of Yeonmisa Temple. The pagoda has a single-tier foundation bearing the weight of the whole structure, above which rises a three-storey body. The body stones of both the foundation and the storeys are plain and unadorned, while the roof stones have four-tiered supports on their undersides and curve up slightly at the four corners, giving a sense of lightness. The pagoda forms a beautiful harmony with its natural surroundings and is thought to date, like the stone Buddha statue, from the Goryeo period.
