This is presumed to be the three-story stone pagoda that once stood at Seongsansa temple site on Cheongseongsan Mountain. It has a two-tiered foundation and a three-story body set upon natural bedrock; at present part of the foundation is damaged, and the roof stone of the third storey and everything above it has been lost. The corners of the body stones are carved with pillar shapes, and the thick roof stones have four-tiered supports on their undersides. Although small, the pagoda's parts are harmoniously proportioned, giving an impression of stability. Given the thickness of the roof stones and the reduced number of support tiers, it is presumed to have been built in the early Goryeo period.
