This bridge is said to have been built around 660, during the reign of King Munmu of Silla. It originally stood on the site of the Gyeongbu railway line at Jeungyak-ri, Gunbuk-myeon, but was moved to the entrance of Jeungyak Village when the railway was built, and was later relocated to its present site in April 2001 after flood damage. Jeungyak Village, where the bridge stood, was the site of a post-horse relay station, and traffic through it was heavy. This stone bridge is 1.75 m high, 2.2 m wide and 9.83 m long. Its structure consists of stone walls built up along both banks of the stream, broad stones laid on the streambed, square stone pillars erected in pairs, and long, broad slabs of stone placed on top to form the roadway.
