Naesosa Temple Three-story Stone Pagoda
내소사삼층석탑 · 來蘇寺三層石塔

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis three-storey stone pagoda stands in front of the Daeungjeon Hall of Naesosa Temple; a three-storey body rises on a two-tier base, topped with a finial. Pillar shapes are carved on both tiers of the base and on each body stone of the pagoda body. The roof stones, which slope steeply, have four tiers of supports on their undersides. At the top, two round stones of different sizes remain on a square base stone, forming the finial. Overall, the height decreases sharply from the second storey onward compared with the first storey of the pagoda body. It is a small-scale pagoda, believed to be a Goryeo-period stone pagoda that follows the general stone pagoda style of Unified Silla.
