This bell, within the grounds of Silsangsa Temple, is 123 cm tall with a mouth diameter of 83 cm. The hanging loop takes the form of a dragon standing on the top of the bell, while the yongtong, a sound tube that enhances the bell's resonance, is shaped like a simplified dragon with its tail coiled. On the upper part of the body, twelve medallions bear Sanskrit letters carved in relief within circles. Below these are four rectangular yugwak (nipple bands) on the four faces, between which are placed bodhisattva figures wearing crowns and holding a flowering branch with both hands, one figure to each space. The borders of the yugwak are decorated with a vine scroll pattern, and within each are nine flower-shaped yudu (bell nipples). The inscription cast on the bell shows that it was made in 1694, the 20th year of King Sukjong.
