Three-story Stone Pagoda at Namharisa Temple Site, Jeungpyeong
KOGL Type 1Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

This is a stone pagoda whose three-storey body was erected on a square base stone set upon a rock whose upper surface had been smoothed flat. The body stones of the first and third storeys are each carved from a single block, while the second-storey body stone was cut from the same block as the first-storey roof stone. The roof stones are distinctive for the three tiers of eave supports carved high into their undersides, which combine well with the upward curve of the four corners to give a sense of stability. Only the square base stone that once supported the finial ornament remains at the top. Judging from the stylistic technique of its various parts, the pagoda is presumed to date from the Goryeo period.
