This is a group of relics kept by the Jeoldogongpa lineage of the Naju Im clan, belonging to Im Yong-jin, the fourth-generation descendant of Im Jin, founder of the Jeoldogongpa branch, and to Im Mun-su, a grand-nephew of Im Yong-jin. Im Yong-jin was born in 1756, the 32nd year of King Yeongjo, and passed the civil service examination in 1816, the 16th year of King Sunjo, going on to serve as an assistant magistrate of Jeolla Province and as an Ijo jeongnang, a personnel official of the Ministry of Personnel. His royal commissions, relics and collected writings are kept by his sixth-generation descendant Im Sun-taek. Im Mun-su was born in 1802, the 2nd year of King Sunjo, and passed the civil service examination in 1849, the 15th year of King Heonjong, going on to serve as an Ijo jeongnang and as a Byeongjo chamui, a councillor of the Ministry of War. The memorial of 1879, the 16th year of Emperor Gojong, was submitted while he held the post of Byeongjo chamui, after he discovered that the granaries held no three-year reserve of rice, and it sets out his proposed remedies. His hongpae certificate of examination success, 24 royal commissions, relics and collected writings are kept by his fifth-generation descendant Im Jun-taek.
