This is a house said to have been moved and rebuilt in 1932 from the residence of an official surnamed Jeong in Woljeon-ri, Yonghwa-myeon, and is known as Yeongsajae. Although the building itself is not old, it has distinctive detailed features. The L-shaped main hall, the single-row auxiliary building, and a sotdaemun — a gate built one level higher than the roof of the servants' quarters, marking the status of the household — all survive. The main hall stands on a platform of piled natural stones; long foundation stones were laid along the front where the wooden floor is, while square-cut foundation stones were used elsewhere. The roof is a paljak (hip-and-gable) roof, whose side profile resembles the shape of the character for 'eight'.
