The Yongcheonsa Temple Panbulseol Amitabha Sutra held at Wonju Gopanhwabangmulgwan is a woodblock-printed edition produced at Yongcheonsa Temple in Damyang in the 10th year of King Seonjo (1577). Although its cover has since been rebound, compared with the Deokjusa Temple edition printed in the 5th year of King Seonjo (1572) its illustrations have been simplified and the explanatory text is rendered in intaglio (incised) carving. It therefore holds important value as reference material for studying the stylistic development of calligraphy, woodblock printing, and art of the period.
