This pagoda stands amid the paddy fields of Museong-ri village, raised on a high stone platform. Above the base stone rests a single-tier foundation and a three-storey body, the first-storey body stone of which is disproportionately large. Each body stone of the foundation and the storeys is carved at its corners to imitate pillars. The roof stones have three-tiered eaves-supports on their undersides, and their upper surfaces slope gently. The seemingly thin eaves run level before curving slightly upward at each end. At the top, a dew basin (a finial support), an upward-facing lotus ornament and a jewel finial remain in place as the crowning ornament. Overall the pagoda looks elongated in relation to its width, an impression heightened by the first-storey body stone being taller than the foundation itself. The single-tier foundation, the three-tiered roof-stone supports and the formalised corner-pillar carving suggest that it was erected in the Goryeo period; and since this area was once part of the old Baekje territory, the curve of the roof stones shows a slight trace of Baekje pagoda style, giving the pagoda a distinctly local character.
