Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis stele was erected in 1587, the twentieth year of King Seonjo, by Ryu Un-ryong, magistrate of Indong County, in order to honour the exemplary loyalty of Gil Jae (pen name Ya-eun). Ryu had first repaired Gil Jae's burial ground and built a shrine and Osan Seowon academy nearby, then set up this stele in front of them. It stands on a hillock about 400m east of Gil Jae's tomb.
