This is a five-story stone pagoda with a five-tier body set on a two-tier foundation. Its foundation had been completely buried underground and the whole pagoda had tilted to the west, but it has recently been restored and re-erected. Pillar shapes are carved on the body stones of each tier of the upper foundation and the pagoda body, and a door shape is carved on the first-tier body stone in particular. The thick roof stones have four tiers of eaves supports on their undersides. Unlike the well-balanced stone pagodas of Unified Silla, the body stones here diminish in size monotonously and unstably from tier to tier, the roof stones are thicker, and the eaves supports are reduced to four tiers -- features characteristic of Goryeo-period stone pagodas. In front of the pagoda stands a stone Buddha image, so damaged that its original form can hardly be made out.
