Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis is the guest house (gaeksa) of Cheongsong county, built to accommodate officials dispatched from the central government or foreign envoys. It was first built in 1428, the tenth year of King Sejong, by magistrate Ha Dam, and has since been repaired on several occasions. The building measures six kan across the front and three kan to the side; originally it took the form of a central main hall flanked by wings on either side. However, after the Japanese annexation of Korea, the central hall and the left wing were lost, and today the surviving building is preserved with its name plaque hung on it.
