In 1972, while the ground was being cleared for the stupa (saritap, a structure built to enshrine Buddhist relics), stele and memorial monument of the great monk Cheongdam, a group of artefacts was unearthed together: one Goryeo-period bronze Buddhist bell, five bronze spoons, one bronze chopstick, two bronze ladles, one bronze mirror, and one coin. These are now kept in the Cheongdam Memorial Hall. Since the findspot of these objects is clearly documented, they are of particular interest: typical Goryeo-period bronze crafts are found mixed together with a Joseon-period sangpyeongtongbo coin and a Japanese Edo-period bronze mirror, which demonstrates that the site of the stupa had been occupied by a building over a long span of time.
