KOGL Type 1Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

This is the nokgwon — a certificate recording a grant of merit — issued to Yu Baek-jeung, posthumously honoured as Lord Chunggyeong (1587–1646), on his being ranked third class among the Jeongsa Meritorious Subjects in 1625, in recognition of the merit he earned during the Injo Restoration. It contains a text in praise of the Jeongsa Meritorious Subjects, together with the names of all fifty-three men so honoured: ten of the first class, fifteen of the second class, and twenty-eight of the third class.
