A stele pavilion has been built within the precincts of Chungnyeolsa Shrine to protect the stele, whose body bears roughly 1,420 characters inscribed across its front and back faces. At the top of the front face, the title "Eoje Dalcheon Chungnyeolsa-bi" (Royally Composed Stele of Dalcheon Chungnyeolsa Shrine) is carved in seal script in a vertical line, followed immediately by the main text, with the names of the calligrapher and the seal-script writer given at the end. The main text was written by Yi Byeong-mo, who held the rank of Jaheon-daebu and the posts of Minister of Rites and Jikjehak (Second Counsellor of the Hongmungwan), while the seal-script title was written by Yun Dong-seom, Minister of Personnel.
