After Master Samyeong died, his disciple the monk Hyegu carved onto woodblocks the poems and writings he had kept. Volume 1 contains sa, a form of rhapsodic verse; Volume 2, five-character regulated verse; Volume 3, seven-character regulated verse; Volume 4, five-character quatrains; Volume 5, seon'ge, verses in which Master Samyeong expounded on Seon (Zen) Buddhism; and Volume 6, miscellaneous prose and poems. An appendix at the end contains stele inscriptions and a record of his life. These woodblocks are valued as important material for studying Master Samyeong's thought and for his personal biography.
