This is a site where roof tiles were fired during the late Goryeo period. The investigation found three kiln sites, each a tunnel-type kiln dug into the ground. No artefacts other than tile fragments were found, and most of the fragments bear comb-pattern and fish-bone-pattern designs. Kiln No. 1 is about 9m long overall, and apart from slight damage to the ceiling it is intact. Kiln No. 2 was the first to be discovered; it lies to the south-east, with Kiln No. 3 situated between it and Kiln No. 1. It is 5.6m long overall and, apart from some damage to part of the ceiling, is in relatively good condition. Kiln No. 3 lies between Kilns No. 1 and No. 2; about half of its firing chamber and its combustion chamber have been lost, leaving a present length of about 3.2m. It is the best-preserved kiln site found in Gyeongsangbuk-do, making it valuable as educational material on old kiln sites.
