This collection comprises three dharani prints and three volumes of Buddhist scriptures. The dharani are the Womb Realm Mandala (Taejanggye mandala), the Dharani of the Secret Whole-Body Relic Casket Seal of All Tathāgatas' Hearts, and the Dharani of the Whole-Body Relic Casket Seal. The Womb Realm Mandala (37×40 cm) is estimated, from its paper and ink colour, to date from the Goryeo period; in Esoteric Buddhism it forms one of the Two Mandalas together with the Diamond Realm Mandala. At its centre is the character 'A' (阿), which symbolises the Buddha Vairocana in Esoteric Buddhism, surrounded by several tiers of carved dharani mantras. The Dharani of the Secret Whole-Body Relic Casket Seal of All Tathāgatas' Hearts (38×38 cm) has its title carved running from left to right, with the text written in four lines of Sanskrit encircling the border within a reversed swastika shape; a colophon at the bottom records that it was published in 1152, the sixth year of King Uijong of Goryeo, at a temple called Haejinsa, with the calligraphy done by a monk named Dohwi. The Dharani of the Whole-Body Relic Casket Seal (33×32 cm) consists of two overlapping circular mandala designs stamped on a single sheet of paper, its dharani characters unwinding outward from the centre rather than forming concentric rings; it is estimated to date from the twelfth or thirteenth century. The Buddhist scriptures are the Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch, the Jingde Records of the Transmission of the Lamp, and the Seonga gwigam (Mirror of Seon). The Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch (woodblock print, one volume) carries a colophon showing it was published at Haetalsa Temple in 1569, the second year of King Seonjo, and that its woodblocks were later moved to and stored at Simgoksa Temple. The Jingde Records of the Transmission of the Lamp (woodblock print, one volume) bears a publication note dated 1614. The Seonga gwigam (woodblock print, one volume) bears a publication note dated 1612.
