Jipjudugongbuchodangsi of Daeseongam Hermitage, Yangsan
양산 대성암 집주두공부초당시 · 梁山大聖庵所藏集註杜工部草堂詩

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krIt is a woodblock-printed, thread-bound book made of mulberry paper, recut and printed in Miryang in the eleventh month of the sinhae year, the sixth year of the Xuande era — that is, the thirteenth year of King Sejong of Joseon (1431) — from a Southern Song edition. It comprises eight volumes in one case, from volume 33 to volume 40, and the printed text area measures 24.6 by 25.8 cm. Its contents are a recarved reprint of an edition brought from Southern Song China, in which Cai Mengbi had compiled and published various commentaries on the poems of Du Fu. About forty years after this book was printed, the vernacular translation of Du Fu's poetry finally began under King Seongjong; the appearance of the Dusi Eonhae [the vernacular translation of Du Fu's poems] under King Seongjong was made possible because this book had already been printed and widely circulated under King Sejong. The postscript to this book was written by Yun Sang (pen name Byeoldong, 1373–1455), a native of Yecheon who at the time held the post of magistrate of Daegu Prefecture. Although the set is incomplete, it is the last volume, so its printing colophon is clear, and being of an early date it holds cultural value.
