의송당 최인 진영 · 梁山通度寺所藏歷代高僧影幀
Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krThis portrait shows Seon Master Choe In of Uisongdang Hall seated cross-legged on the floor, in seven-tenths left profile. At the centre of the painting he wears a blue jangsam (long monastic robe) with a vermilion gasa (kasaya) draped over it, and sits facing sideways, holding a monk's staff in one hand and a rosary in the other. Behind the figure is a two-tiered background of a plain upper wall and a lower woven mat, with a stylised, patterned backrest placed behind him. On the left side of the painting is only a hwaje — an inscription identifying the subject — written in black ink on a vermilion ground, reading 義松堂最仁大禪師之眞 ("Portrait of the Great Seon Master Choe In of Uisongdang Hall"). The painting measures 78.5 cm in width and 120.5 cm in height.
