Three-story Stone Pagoda at Bongnimsa Temple Site, Andong
KOGL Type 1Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

This three-storey stone pagoda stands in front of Bongnim Jeongsa, a pavilion owned by the Andong Jang clan. It consists of a three-storey body raised on a two-tier base, though the roof stone of the third storey is now missing. The lower tier of the base is carved with ansang, arched niche motifs, and the upper tier is carved with pillar shapes. The body stones of the pagoda are likewise carved with pillar shapes, and the first-storey body stone is further decorated with a carved door motif. The corners of the roof stones curve slightly upward, and the underside of each is cut with four tiers of eaves supports. At the top, a round stone rests on a square base stone to form the finial. The pagoda follows the general style of Unified Silla stone pagodas, suggesting that it was built during that period.
