Seated Wooden Bodhisattva of Beopseongsa Temple, Changwon
KOGL Type 1Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.kr

The Seated Wooden Bodhisattva of Beopseongsa Temple, Masan, is the right-hand attendant bodhisattva of the triad of Buddhist images enshrined in the Daeungjeon Hall. The temple identifies it as Daeseji Bosal, but on the basis of its carving style it is presumed to actually be Bohyeon Bosal. The gilding on the lower body at the back has flaked off, but aside from this the statue is in generally good condition.
