This is one of seven sutra volumes printed after the Imjin War. The set comprises the Sipji gyeongnon (Ha), from the fifth volume of the Nanseungji chapter through the twelfth section of the tenth volume of the Beopunji chapter; the Ganjimnok; the Daebanggwangbul hwaeomgyeong socho, a commentary and sub-commentary on the Hwaeomgyeong, the Avatamsaka Sutra, Volume 34; the Gyeongdeok jeondeungnok, Volumes 22–24; the Daebanggwang wongak sudara yoeuigyeong, the Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment, Volume 6; and the Myobeop yeonhwagyeong, the Lotus Sutra, Volumes 1 and 2. The way the names of the carvers are recorded, along with features such as the shape of the closing colophon, make it possible to identify the characteristics and edition type of woodblock prints produced at local temples, and it is recognised as an important source for understanding trends in the publication of sutras in different regions during the late Joseon period.
