The Dongil-ri dolmen cluster is a group of burial remains built by the residents of a surrounding village during the Early Iron Age to Proto-Three Kingdoms period. The Dongil-ri dolmens lie in the south-western part of Seogwipo and are, administratively, built at Lots 1614 and 1628 and three other lots in Dongil-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province [Dongil-ri Dolmen No. 1], Lot 1607 [Dongil-ri Dolmen No. 2], Lot 1619 [Dongil-ri Dolmen No. 3], and Lot 1619 [Dongil-ri Dolmen No. 4]. They stand on a hillock at the foot of Gasi-ak, an oreum (volcanic cone) 106.5m high. The capstone of Dongil-ri Dolmen No. 2 is close to an oval in shape. Its long axis is tilted about 25° from north towards the west. The capstone measures 253cm in length, 190cm in width, and 60cm in thickness. In all, nine support stones are set low beneath it; some sides show a double tier of supports, while on others the capstone touches the ground directly.
