These tombs lie on a hill to the south of Taebongsan Mountain. Originally there appear to have been more than 100 tombs, but most have been disturbed by land reclamation and looting, and today only two or three can be identified along the ridge. In external scale, the large mounds measure 25-30 m in diameter and 6-8 m in height; medium mounds measure 15-20 m in diameter and 4-5 m in height; and small mounds measure around 10 m in diameter and about 3 m in height. Inside, a stone chamber was built of stone with the ceiling narrowed and capped with covering stones; they are thought to be side-entrance stone chamber tombs (hoenggusik seoksilbun) with an entrance and passage. As no excavation has yet been carried out, their precise date and character remain unclear, but they are considered an important site not only for research into Gaya tombs but also for clarifying the historical reality of Gaya.
