Located in Bungmun-dong, Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, this shrine enshrines the spirit tablets of three Grand Preceptors (taesa), meritorious subjects in the founding of Goryeo: Kim Seon-pyeong, Gwon Haeng and Jang Jeong-pil. In 930, when King Taejo subjugated Gyeon Hwon at Andong, Gwon Haeng and Jang Jeong-pil were rewarded for their service with the title of Daesang, and Kim Seon-pyeong with the title of Daegwang. According to records, the memorial rite for the three men was first held by the magistrate of Andong in 983, the second year of King Seongjong of Goryeo. The shrine building at the present site was erected in 1542, the 37th year of King Jungjong of Joseon; it burned down during the Korean War and was rebuilt in the 1960s. The treasure hall within the shrine preserves 22 relics of the Three Grand Preceptors, designated Treasure No. 451, including a red cup, silk, a cap, leather shoes and a fan.
