강화 오상리 고인돌 · 江華 鰲上里 고인돌
Provincial Monument

Korea Heritage Service · khs.go.krA total of 12 dolmens are distributed across the Osang-ri dolmen site; an excavation carried out in 2000 found that all of them are of the northern type. The burial-chamber structures of the dolmens are shaped like the Korean consonant pieup, resembling a tabletop supported by two legs, and the dolmens are grouped by size into large, medium and small. A very wide variety of relics have been excavated, including mumun pottery (plain, undecorated pottery typical of Korea's Bronze Age), tubular jade beads, half-moon-shaped stone reaping knives, and arrowheads.
